I have seen, not one post or two, but dozens of posts and comments of people complaining about the #Oppenheimer movie or #Barbie movie and why it’s always in VF in Algerian cinemas!
First of all, that’s not entirely true. Yes it’s in VF more than it is in Vo but you still can watch it in English when it’s Vo or Vostfr (English with French subtitles)
I personally watched Spider-Man no way home and Dr. Strange into the multivesr of madness both in English and both in cosmos.
Second of all, the reason why it’s mostly in French is simply a matter of numbers!
Unfortunately the same people who allegedly don’t go to cinemas because the movies are not in English are themselves the reason why they are not in English!
More tickets are sold when the movies are in French and for sure that’s all they care about!
The bottom line. If you want things to change start acting like it and actually show up!
It’s time for us to take over!

People who are complaining want the VOSTAR version and its their right this why the numbers are low,few people who could watch VO/VOSTFR

things won’t change until English takes it’s rightful place in this country, since french is still considered the second language in this country, don’t expect much of a change and even if it happens, cinemas will be the last to be effected by it.

If there was an arab and VO version it would be logical cuz were in an arab country
But why french and since most of the ppl want VO just sell VOstfr only and both sides will be satisfied

-Cosmos itself failed in gaining the VO community due to the lack of ads
– Most of people want Vostar in reality which cosmos is refusing to try !! And they are saying things like our movies cannot contain vostar and such things..
Cosmos refuses to even give a chance to Vostar which has the biggest community in Algeria and when it comes to VO they failed in gaining the community due to the ads lacking
They really need to make changes in that cinema unfortunately…
